John Woods

John has a wealth of real estate experience, spanning 31 years. Starting his career as a realtor before becoming licensed as a Mortgage Broker in 2001 and then founding Fitzwilliam Mortgage in 2006.

John has been in the Nanaimo area since 1990 and has been an active member of both the Nanaimo and Gabriola communities with Habitat Nanaimo, the Gabriola Chamber of Commerce, the Gabriola Rate Payers, the Downtown Nanaimo Business Improvement Association and the Old City Quarter Association, just to mention a few.

John has been an active member of the Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association- BC since becoming a Mortgage Broker and was honored with the Individual Partner Award in 2019.

Caroline Roach

As well as being a licensed Mortgage Broker, Caroline holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Vancouver Island University. She began her career as a Broker in 2009 as she knew it would give her the flexibility to focus on both raising her son and building a career.

Over the years she has been an active member of the Nanaimo community. An engaged participant of her son's school PAC, she has also served as a director on the Downtown Nanaimo Business Improvement Association, as President of the VIU Alumni Association, Treasurer of the Nanaimo Art Gallery, and as Treasurer for the Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association - BC.

When not educating clients about mortgages or serving her community you can find her on the sidelines at her son's football games. Cheering loud and proud as he plays for the John Barsby Bulldogs, lets go dawgs!!!

Alicia Barker

Alicia Barker was born and raised in Nanaimo, with a 13 year career in the Food and Beverage industry before moving onto become a Mortgage Broker in 2018. She has a passion for financial education and for helping others find the best mortgage fit for their households.

Alicia has three beautiful children, who keep her pretty busy. However, when she does find time, she enjoys cooking, reading, crocheting, and getting out in nature, whether it be a walk or getting her hands dirty in the garden.
